The Running Shop and Hops: The Best Craft Beer Destination in Morgan Hill

Always end up here after going wine tasting. Best place for craft beers in MOHI. Reasonably priced beers at $9, size varies. They do half hours and taster sizes as well. Selection is always top notch and constantly changing. To go beer selection is also great. Service is always excellent. Employees are all really friendly and allow you to try before ordering. Fun place with free foosball and some pay to play arcade games. They also have TVs for sports. It is open seating in a garage style place. They don't have food, but you can bring your own. This place is always busy for a reason

Best thing about Running Shop is their beer selection - both on tap and to take home. The thing that makes them unique is they allow you to mix cans rather than having to take a four pack of the same beer. Craft beer is so expensive already, buying four cans of something you’re not sure you’ll like? Not here! While there is seating indoors and out, this place gets HOPPING in the evenings and on weekends! The line to order a beer can get long but the bartenders work fast. They also have between fifty and eighty six beers on tap, depending on inventory - beers of all styles I might add. You can always see their current menu on the app Untappd. They have two gender neutral, single person bathrooms that I have yet to see less than clean. They have some swag if you decide you want to give them some free advertising. Kids and pets are welcome and there is usually a food truck available during dinnertime hours. Parking can be tough during peak hours as they don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but it’s worth the short walk if required.

Lots of draft beer selections from Bay Area breweries. Family and pet friendly—a great place to hang out! Plus, they have some arcade machines on site, which is a big bonus.

This place is hopping on a Friday happy hour and yet the folks are super helpful, patient and friendly. Fantastic tap list and great fridge full of to go beers. If you like beer, friendly folks and a great venue, come get a beer here.

So many beers to choose from on draft and cans to many in fact. No food served here but right next door is a great pizza place and you can bring it over no problem

Outstanding place to grab a few drinks. Great and varied selection with some really personable and friendly folks behind the counter. There's a little bar area if you don't feel like sitting at communal tables, but it's a cool vibe. Too bad they don't serve their own food, which is why it's 1-star. Not because they serve terrible food, but because they don't have their own service. There are different trucks on different days, but nothing in-house. Not even chips, nuts or anything simple. Besides that, spectacular spot to drink and take in a game or people watch.

Family & Pet Friendly place to grab a beer and just hang out. They have a huge selection of beers from different Northern California Breweries. Their first come first serve indoor & outdoor space provides a chill, relaxing, & fun environment. They have a small game room area & local food trucks - check their instagram schedule. The staff was great; attentive & helpful when deciding what beer to order. I’m coming back soon!
